Shaleen-Daljit as guest judge in a College fest.


The Nach Baliye couple Shaleen Bhanot and Daljit Kaur was recently seen as a judge in one of the college fest. They were invited by SIES College to judge the dance competition. The couple enjoyed a lot and was overwhelmed by the response they got from the students.

“We had a gala time judging the dance show at SIES College. Alongside we also got a good response from the students,” says Shaleen.

How did you feel after taking the judges’ seat? “To be frank enough, judging is very difficult and this experience made me believe it. It’s a huge responsibility as nothing could go wrong and we did not want to feel guilty after giving a decision”, adds the actor.

Were you strict or lenient when it came to commenting and giving marks? “I just stuck to my job. We had to look for everything, starting from costume to synchronization and presentation too. I used to discuss with Daljit before giving them marks”, quips he.

“One thing that I came to know after the event ended was that, there is so much talent in the young generation. We stand no where close to what they showed us through their steps and other elements, and that makes their dance more perfect,” states Shaleen.

“Now I can understand how much our judges in Nach have to go through. So from now on, all the comments from them will be welcomed. After being a judge here, I got to know what it really means to give a standing ovation, teen tali and band,” he concludes.

Hiten and Gauri groove again on Nach stage


Nach Baliye 4 has entered its final and crucial phase, and all the contestants are charged up to give their best!!

The five Jodis who are still in the race will be performing on ‘Legendary Jodi’ theme this week.

The very elegant hosts and contestants of Nach Baliye Season 2, Hiten Tejwani and Gauri Pradhan too could not resist grooving, as they took to the stage yet again.

According to our source from the sets, “Hiten and Gauri performed on the Rishi Kapoor-Neetu Singh number ‘Ek Main Aur Ek Tu’. The very popular on screen and off screen couple carried off the performance very elegantly and looked cute”.

Farah was very impressed by their performance. “She even gave them the title of ‘Cute Jodi’ of Television. She also went on to say that they can take the trophy for the ‘Cute Couple’ of Nach Baliye from Naman and Megha”, adds our source.

Another Jodi that rocked the dance floor and looked cute was Yash and Gauri Tonk. “They danced on the very popular SRK-Kajol number from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and were praised a lot by judges”, concludes our source.

It's time to bid 'Alvida' to...Nach Baliye 4


With temperatures rising on the stage of Nach Baliye, competition has become tough as yet another Jodi gets evicted from the show this week!! And bowing out this time will be Jodi No. 2 Reshmi Ghosh and Amit Gupta, who have kind of failed to make a mark in the minds of judges as well as audiences till now!!

“Amit and Reshmi were not at all happy with the decision, but had no choice but to leave the stage with a plastic smile on their faces”, says a khabroo from the sets.

Yash Tonk and Gauri Tonk, the Wild Card Jodi who joined in the battle last week found themselves in the Danger Zone along with Amit and Reshmi.

We called up Amit to know about his elimination. “We are happy and satisfied with our Nach journey. I feel proud as we lasted for 10 episodes. Please excuse me as I can’t talk anything further. We are not allowed to disclose any more information. Kindly wait for the episode to air”, quips Amit.

The theme for this week’s episode will be ‘Legendary Jodis’.

Our source informs us that, “As soon as the bottom two jodis were announced, Reshmi who is very sensitive by nature could not take the shock and fainted on the sets. The shoot was halted for more than one hour. Sanjeeda and Naman who are like family members to Reshmi came on stage to help her out”.

Reshmi was bit apprehensive about performing after she fainted. “But Amit somehow convinced her to dance by saying that it’s better to dance and get out of the show instead of bowing out without a fight,” concludes the source.

The ex-hosts of the season Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh were also present on the sets, and enthralled all with a thrilling performance on stage
